How To Lose Body Fat Fast
You would think that when we lose weight we would just lose fat. What actually happens is that we lose of body fat, and muscle tissue. Clinical studies have proven that when the average person diets, the weight lost is on average 75 percent fat and 25 percent muscle.
Actually that same study showed, a very high percentage of this weight loss will probably be water loss. Do you know that water accounts for about 70 percent of the total body weight of an average person? Muscle tissue contains roughly 75 % and body fat contains roughly 50 percent water.
Fat can not be lost quickly. That is because it takes more energy to burn fat than protein. That means, if you take in lass calories and don’t increase your activity, your body will start using your glucose levels and then moves over to muscle tissues.
As a last resort it will start utilizing the extra fat in your body. That is not what we are trying to accomplish.
If you plan your exercise program according to your age and fitness (don’t exceed the cardio-fitness heart-rates for your group) you should be steadily working on the fat tissue, 2-5lbs a week is a good average.

Drink lots of water. Cut out soft drinks/energy drinks if you drink them. They are FULL of sugar. Be aware there are possibilities of danger from drinking too much water! Do everything in moderation.
I suggest that you not give up that food that you love or you’ll crave it and eat something equally bad to compensate. Moderation. A little of that favorite food will not hurt.
You must be patient. It is better to take the weight off safely and slowly and KEEP IT OFF than do one of these crazy grapefruit diets and lose the weight and put it back on as soon as you eat solid food again.
Each time you the TV on you will see weight loss advertisements. You will read and hear promises of huge weight loss. Do not fall for it!
Let’s face it. You and I want to get the fat off very quickly - and having that thought is not wrong - but it’s the wrong approach.
