Necessary Items to Keep In Your Handbag
As a woman, you may sometimes feel lost without your handbag. Handbags are not just designer items that we tote around with just for looks. No, handbags are carrying vessels. We carry many items that we need and also many items that we do not need. It is very amazing how much things you can fit into a single, small handbag. Now, sometimes we may feel ill-equipped to handle everyday situations that we face. However, we can feel better equipped by keeping a set of so-called necessary items in our handbags that will help us get through the day. What are some of those so-called necessary items?
Anti-Bacterial Sanitary Hand Gel
Germs and bacteria are everywhere. They are on door handles, on guard rails, and even on pens and other writing utilities. We can lower the risks of catching a virus of some sort such as the flu or a common cold by carrying hand sanitizing gel. I carry a little bottle of sanitary hand gel in my handbag. Actually, I have several handbags and I keep a bottle of that stuff in each bag. My motto is you can never keep enough of anti-bacterial hand gel.
The usefulness of sanitary hand gel is a debatable issue, and some may contest that this does not really help you. Well, I think it does. And if anything, at the least, it gives you some peace of mind.
Nail Clippers
You never know when you are going to get a hang nail. In this case, a good nail clipper comes in handy. Nail clippers are a small item, so you should have no problem fitting them into your handbag. They barely take up any room, right?
A Small Sewing Kit
You can never tell when a button will come loose or if an item of clothing you are wearing is going to unravel a bit. If you keep a small sewing kit consisting of thread, a few sewing needles, and a thimble, you are all set in the case of a clothing accident.
Hide a Ten Dollar Bill
Sometimes, you may run into a shop or outlet that does not accept credit cards or checks. A lot of times, people do not carry cash. Well, if your handbag has small pockets either in the inside or outside, why not carry an emergency ten dollar bill or a nice amount so that in the case of an emergency when you need to buy something somewhere that does not accept anything other than cash, you will have exactly what you need.
So, these are just a few in case of emergency items that are suitable for carrying in your handbag on a daily basis. Not only are these items compact, but they are very useful.
