Efficient Way to Get Visitors to Your Website

The most effective and cost efficient way to get visitors to your website is by the use of article marketing. Articles not only contain useful information or content on a particular subject but they also contain the url or hyperlink to the site of your choice. It is a simple matter to submit your article to these places which should, wherever possible, be popular websites; it doesn’t take to long before the visitors begin to arrive at your site. Acceptance of content at sites like this is a little like a thumbs up to you as well and can be of great benefit; by improving your standing, you will by default, also improve the level of trust people have for you.

Article marketing carried out this way (i.e. more than once) will get people to look upon you as an author whose work they will seek out because the content is good. Convincing people of your knowledge in certain areas ensures they will always trust what you write. Although it can take a while, this traffic from people that trust you will help your own search engine ranking; the benefit of this is there will be an increase in people that find you through the search engines. The more websites that link to yours, the more traffic you will achieve; all of this comes with no charge so you are actually able to market yourself for free.

It is the links placed in the text and at the bottom of the page that makes article marketing so useful, successful and popular! Your article must have good content if you want it placed in many websites because this in turn will link back to your own website which of course will increase the website ranking. Unfortunately you cannot normally expect your site to be listed straight away with the search engines. Although you cannot rush the search engines directly, submitting more articles and using the authority sites will help enormously.

Article marketing helps to improving the ranking of a site but in addition to this it also helps increase the amount of content at the same time which again improves rank. Remember that visitors do not know that your website is trying to get them to buy something. The more truthful you are about what you are doing, the more visitors will appreciate it providing the information you supply is relevant to their search. It is once they have entered your site where you have the chance to sell to them. This a little like taking them by the hand so they know what they are buying and most importantly, why. By doing this you are securing any order you make and will receive less refund requests.

If you want visitors to your websites then you must continue your article marketing this way; regularly submitting articles is necessary and should not be viewed as something you only have to do once. It is not just articles that you write that will be on other websites but if your site is good, you will receive links from other websites also; your content or article will have information that other people are seeking. You cannot dismiss just how effective article marketing is at getting people to your site for free; provided you keep adding unique, but relevant, content to your site, visitors will return.

The Right Use of Article Marketing

The use of article marketing is still the number one way to get more people to visit your website and one that won’t cost a cent! While the article should have value in itself for the person reading it, there should also be one or more back links to where they will find more information. For the best response, a website or blog for example that is well visited each day is the best place to submit it; within a relatively short period you should start to experience more visitors at your site. Top sites are also viewed by search engines as authority sites so it is to your benefit in many ways to have your content accepted; you will become a trusted person which means a great deal in the virtual world.

This method of article marketing needs to be done almost every day if you want your name to be associated as an expert so people look for your work. This is why it is so important to show people that you know what you are talking about so they trust the content you provide in the area you write about. The purpose of all this is to increase your credibility with the various search engines; by default this will increase the number of organic visitors you receive that have searched for something your site has information on. If there are many websites which link with your website then it increases your website ranking which in turn boost up your traffic gaining. all of this comes with no charge so you are actually able to market yourself for free.

A number of links to other relevant sites can be placed in the body text (not too many) when using article marketing. The purpose of good articles is for people to use them on their site, with each having the links to your site contained in them which all helps the ranking. Sometimes, however, search engines can take some time before they actually list your site; Google can actually take months on occasion. Normally however, constant submission of articles can speed the process up, especially with the back links from authority sites.

Article marketing helps to improving the ranking of a site but in addition to this it also helps increase the amount of content at the same time which again improves rank. Don’t forget that many visitors to your site are not visiting to buy something. People searching for details about a product or service will not mind the sales side providing the information is interesting. Once on your site it is not a complicated matter to show your visitors what it is you are selling. This procedure is almost like a safety net because you are explaining the process to them so they will not misunderstand. It is this sort of method that stops people from cancelling their order a few days later.

If you continue your article marketing this way you can expect a profitable future; do not think for one minute that this is will be a success if it is only done the once! An additional benefit from writing quality articles is that other website owners will either link to your site or use your articles on their own site; don’t forget, your article will contain information that people are searching for. With the many ways to drive visitors to your site, article marketing is still the most efficient; with relevant, quality unique articles, visitors will keep returning.

How to Get the Needed Visitors to Your Website

Posted by hehnis in Article Writing | No Comments

Websites need visitors and probably the easiest (and cheapest) methods of achieving this are with article marketing. Articles not only contain useful information or content on a particular subject but they also contain the url or hyperlink to the site of your choice. Popular sites are the best because it should give your article a great deal of exposure; it doesn’t take to long before the visitors begin to arrive at your site. This is the benefit of using popular sites that have authority and providing they accept your contribution it will help you as well; by improving your standing, you will by default, also improve the level of trust people have for you.

If you perform this article marketing and submission process on a regular basis, people will begin to search for your material and trust your work. If you do not get this trust from people about the quality of your work, they will not visit your site(s). Over time the number of links you receive from other high ranking or authority sites will increase your own ranking with Google; you should find that in time that more visitors that have found you in the search engines improves. The simple fact is that the more websites that provide an internal link to your own, the better your ranking will become; all at no charge, so free advertising is possible.

One of the major benefits of article marketing is the links that can be contained within not just the text body but also the bio box at the bottom of the page. When your articles are good, they get spread around the internet and of course each version will have links back to your own so the more links you have, the more your ranking will grow. Unfortunately you cannot normally expect your site to be listed straight away with the search engines. Although you cannot rush the search engines directly, submitting more articles and using the authority sites will help enormously.

The content on your website is what brings the search engines and hence visitors so therefore part of your article marketing campaign should be to continually add fresh content to your website. Remember that visitors do not know that your website is trying to get them to buy something. The majority of visitors are just searching for more information about something. It is once they have entered your site where you have the chance to sell to them. This a little like taking them by the hand so they know what they are buying and most importantly, why. It is this approach that prevents a good many refunds form taking place.

It is this type of article marketing ensures visitors are always coming to your site; this process must be repeated on a regular basis for it to work. The aim is to have other website owners link their site to yours in addition to using your content as well; having your article duplicated on other people’s sites can bring a great deal of traffic. Never underestimate how easy it is to increase your site traffic at no cost; all you have to do is ensure your content is topic and unique to have constant visitors.

If you are having trouble with your article marketing, make time, follow some rules and examine what the topnotch writers are doing, the web is loaded with excellent writers.

Here a few points to consider in your artcle marketing strategy.
1. Write on topics that mean something to you and your enthusiasm for the subject will come through.

2. Plan to be mostly original because some of what you say has been said, however you need to make sure your voice comes through.

3. Write a piece of substance and make it interesting for the reader. Let them know you really are writing for them, not just what is in their pocket.

4. Follow a structure if you want to save time. Think through what type of article you will write.
There are strategies and templates to apply.

5. Proof read what you write. Make sure you use spell check and check for grammatical errors. You don’t have to perfect every time, no one is but you do want to try and get it right more times then less. I don’t know how many times we tell people, spell check is free.

6. Write a good length article. Don’t just produce those 200 word pieces of essentially nothing. Write a length that allows you to express your full ideas and help the reader.

7. Write on topics people want. This is not the old days of write and hope they read it. Article marketing is just that marketing via your article. Hence you need to write to the target market.

8. Visit article directories and read the articles within. The internet is the best place to find samples to review. Review them for content, format, level of detail. Understand what’s different; understand what is read the most. Try and discern the strategy of a top notch or widely read writer and emulate.

9. Have your work reviewed by someone else. Send your friends to review what you have written and get feedback. Nothing like real world feedback to ensure your article marketing skills improve.

Just remember putting garbage out may get you a hit but never a customer. Article marketing should be a win-win situation for directory owners, authors and the readers.

If the writer produces good quality articles, and directory owner presents the work in an interesting manner, the readers, yourself included, will prosper. Therefore, own the responsibility to make sure that the article produce is well written and accur

How to Tell if You’re Writing Good Content Articles

06 May.
Posted by tkelly in Article Writing | No Comments

Websites and article directories thrive on good content. Good, well written content doesn’t require a Ph.D. or extra special skills. If you can answer yes to the questions below, rest assured you’ve written a good article.

*Does it have scannable text? In other words, will your article make it through the editing process, pass article submission service criteria and be easily read by search engines?

*Is your article useful? Anyone can write an article really. The question is: have you written anything that is useful to your reader? Keep your customers in mind when you are writing an article. Provide good information and you will establish trust with the reader.

*Is your article unique? The old copy and paste trick doesn’t sit well with publishers. Changing a few words here and there isn’t enough to make your article stand out of the crowd on the Internet. Ensure that everything you submit to article directories is original. Use your own style and your voice. Put a new spin on topics that are heavily covered.

*Does the article answer common question? One way to write good content articles is to answer customer questions. Use questions from your e-mail, from forum discussions and anywhere else that questions come up on your topic. Turn customer questions into articles. It’s a great way to provide information to the public that is needed.

*Is the article entertaining? Sure, some topics don’t lend themselves to humor or entertainment. Most topics, however, have some flexibility here. Reading one boring article after another will put your reader to sleep. The important thing is to keep the reader from closing the window to your article. Keep your articles lively and include personality in your articles.

*Does your article create debate? Typically, people think of debate as a bad thing. Where articles are concerned, debate is a very good thing. Debates get other people reading and talking about your article. Debates have a way of drawing traffic to a website quickly.

*Is the article newsworthy? Each article you write needs to be newsworthy. This doesn’t mean write timely articles that would fit in the daily newspaper. What it means is that good content articles have something solid to say and include up-to-date information.

*Is your article easy for the average reader to understand? People read the Internet differently than they read articles in print. Online readers have a short attention span. It’s your job as the writer to hold their attention. Don’t bog them down with big words and long sentences. Use short words and small phrases to get your point across.

*Does your article use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation? This isn’t grade school and we won’t have a pop quiz on the fundamentals of writing. Generally speaking, writers get away with a lot more infractions while writing online articles. Some publishers are extremely picky, however, and if you come across a publisher who is strict about grammar they will choose not to accept an article that doesn’t hold up to their standards.

If your article lacks these qualities, rewrite them to include these things and ensure that you provide good content articles.

Writing Articles To Promote Your Business

05 May.
Posted by biggso in Article Writing | No Comments

Look in your local newspaper or through a trade magazine in your field of interest. Look at the bottom of some of the columns and articles throughout the literature. What you will see in many cases are short biographies of a paragraph or two telling you a little bit about the person that wrote the article. Usually included in that bio will be the name of a business this person runs.

That bio, for the author of the article, is what it is all about. More than likely, its why they wrote the article in the first place. Not for the money, which might have been nominal or even nonexistent but for the advertising. You do not have to be a National Book Award winner to write an article for your local newspaper. You need competent writing skills which can be developed and an idea the newspaper or magazine will want to share with its readership.

When writing for a newspaper, you have two options. One will be a feature and this will be an article that encompasses a specific subject and gives in the time and space the subject requires. The other would be a column of some kind, related to your field of business. Either one has a chance to be published, though it may be easier to get a short column published than a feature just due to space considerations.

It is also important to make sure your article, in whatever form it takes, is something the paper can hold onto and publish at a time of their choosing. Do not waste your time writing something time sensitive if the publisher can not make room for it in that days issue. You will not have another chance to publish it, because the subject will not do anyone any good. Keep your articles as general and evergreen as possible and you will stand a better chance of breaking in.

Read the newspaper or magazine you are thinking of submitting to in order to understand what types of stories they like to publish. Many a query has been wasted by writers trying to break into a market with a wholly inappropriate subject. This does not mean an article that breaks the boundaries of adult content but simply a subject the publication has no use for. If you read what they publish, you will have a better chance of developing a story they will be likely to use.

On the other hand, you will need to keep the subject of your story related in some way to your field of expertise. Not because you know more about that subject but because you will attract more customers to your business if you are writing an article your target audience is more likely to read. Also, it would not make much sense to get to the end of a health and fitness article to find out the author is a stock market investor. This should go without saying.

Be persistent and polite in your effort to get published. Many professional writers experience rejection on a daily basis trying to break into the print market and you may have to go through some of the same. Keep at it and be polite in your acceptance of rejection. You do not want to burn bridges that have not even been built yet. If you can break in, you will notice it will do wonders for your business. Simply by writing articles on your chosen topic, you will come to be known as an authority in your field and this can be very helpful when it comes to taking your business to the next level.

Why PLR Articles are Useless

15 Apr.
Posted by wmlawsonky in Article Writing | No Comments

You won’t find PLR, or private right label articles, at custom article writing services. The reason PLR articles aren’t being pushed anymore is because they are useless. There was a time on the Internet when people realized that they could make a good bit of money using Google Adsense and other similar programs by creating a website on a tightly focused niche topic. The idea behind private right label articles was that it works so well on one site, why not create hundreds or thousands of similar sites to draw in traffic and earn even more money.

A few problems quickly arose when it came to the mass creation of very similar websites with very similar content articles. Custom articles with unique content were not the focus at that time. Basically, a few tactics were developed to speed this process along. People were creating site after site using the same articles. Article sites were popping up that offered PLR articles for next to nothing. The reason for that is they could make the same dollar over and over again with the same article.

Essentially, they could make a lot of money by selling and reselling the same article to different people across the Internet. One difference in PLR articles and what we now call article marketing is that you could claim these articles as your own and change the wording to meet your needs. This discovery led to a whole new way of writing articles.

Instead of creating custom articles and providing a real service to potential clients, writers were buying PLR articles and making minor changes before circulating them around on the Internet again. Software was even developed where you could plug in a PLR article and change just enough words to make it appear a different article. This line of thinking created a big problem on the Internet at the time. Duplicate content became a huge problem.

It became extremely frustrating to put a keyword into a search engine and come up with a list of sites that all offered the same or very similar articles. It became very difficult to find what you were actually looking for. After a while writers, publishers and customers started to create custom written articles. That’s when the idea came around that content is king and that idea stuck.

These ready-to-post content articles made it easy and affordable for site owners to get content on their sites. But they didn’t work very well. In reality, these articles were pushed to the bottom of page ranks and never graced a computer screen. Boring websites across the Internet that publish the same articles were not receiving the attention they once had. They have no value for the reader and are useless in terms of search engines and page ranking.

The Difference between PLR Articles and Custom Article Writing

When PLR articles became useless, the next wave of Internet marketing became custom articles. It became clear that to reach the top of the search engine pages you would needed to create unique articles with interesting content and clearly focused keywords. This sounds like a daunting task. If you’re writing skills aren’t up to par you can always hire a writer or visit a custom article writing site to purchase articles, including their copyright. The difference is that with article marketing and using custom articles, the same article is not used over and over again.

This new way of marketing is a way for business owners to ask for specific needs for their articles and have a specialized team of writers work to achieve that for them. The business owner gets full rights to the article and claims ownership of them. Custom articles are not re-sold to other clients. This gives a value to custom articles written exclusively for one site.

3:10 To Yumi - A Presidential Perspective on Good Writing

15 Apr.
Posted by cpalmatier in Article Writing | No Comments

Looking to improve your article writing? Look no further than the current political landscape.

Ask any political junkie what makes or breaks a candidate, and you’ll get any number of answers: public gaffs, private blunders, bad policy decisions, incredibly poor choices in friends and supporters. All have the potential to derail a promising campaign.

This season, a new threat to success is strikingly clear. In today’s sound-bitten world, it comes down to being Yumi. And Yumi is all about good writing. Whether you are writing articles, speeches or site copy, one rule remains clear.

Let’s look at how the three most viable candidates chose to announce their candidacy:

“I announced today that I am forming a presidential exploratory committee. I’m not just starting a campaign, though; I’m beginning a conversation — with you, with America. Because we all need to be part of the discussion if we’re all going to be part of the solution. And all of us have to be part of the solution.” (Sen. Hillary Clinton, in Presidential Exploratory Announcement, January of 2007)

“Today, I announce my candidacy for President of the United States. I do so grateful for the privileges this country has already given me; mindful that I must seek this responsibility for reasons greater than my self-interest; and determined to use every lesson I’ve learned through hard experience and the history I’ve witnessed, every inspiration I’ve drawn from the patriots I’ve known and the faith that guides me to meet the challenges of our time, and strengthen this great and good nation upon whom all mankind depends.” (Sen. John McCain’s announcement speech, April 25, 2007)

“Let me begin by saying thanks to all you who’ve traveled, from far and wide, to brave the cold today. We all made this journey for a reason. It’s humbling, but in my heart I know you didn’t come here just for me, you came here because you believe in what this country can be. In the face of war, you believe there can be peace. In the face of despair, you believe there can be hope. In the face of a politics that’s shut you out, that’s told you to settle, that’s divided us for too long, you believe we can be one people, reaching for what’s possible, building that more perfect union.” (Sen. Barack Obama, in his campaign announcement, February 2007)

Okay, pretty standard politico-talk from three bright, popular senators. Nothing too earth shattering, and in the larger global context, not all that far apart in context and meaning. So what makes the difference between written words that merely inform and ones that inspire? It comes down to simple math.

Do this - go back through each senator’s opening remarks and simply count the number of times the candidate mentions “Me” (themselves) vs. “You” or “We” (the American people). The ratio of “Me” references to “You” references is what we call “The Yu:Mi” factor. The most inspired and inspirational writers understand the importance of hitting at least a 3:1 Yumi ratio.

Senator Clinton hangs in the balance; her speech contains as many “You” phrases as “Me” phrases, at four each. Senator McCain blows the balance entirely; talking about himself a full eleven times and about us merely once. Okay, two if you’re being generous and giving him “this great and good nation” as one more. Still, 2:11? Hmmm.

Now look at Senator Obama’s words. Clearly, he understands the power of the Yumi factor. His opening remarks contain 12 references to “You”, and a mere three about himself, or “Me”. He has hit on a fantastic Yumi factor of 12:3, or 4:1. Not only is this Yumi, it’s delicious.

Witness the results:

Both McCain and Clinton have urged voters to focus on the issues, not on Obama’s fancy speeches and inspirational rallies. Evidently, they see the effect of Obama’s words on the crowds. People feel what he is saying and they connect on a very personal, almost primal level to his words. Politics aside, it’s powerful stuff.

Sometimes good writing comes down to old fashioned math. Learn to write about your audience, not about you. Really, it’s just plain Yumi.

Carol Palmatier and her team at Marketing Squad provide Yumi, SEO-friendly articles to authors all over the globe. Launch your next article campaign with the help of this professional, Yumi writing service.
